The waxed shell sheds rain, resists wind, and gets better with wear. Scuffs and creases don't hurt it, they break it in. Underneath, a full alpaca fleece lining holds steady warmth through long hours outside, the kind of warmth that doesn't quit when the temperature drops mid-afternoon and you've still got work left to do. This isn't a coat you wear to look like you work outdoors. It's a coat you wear because you do.

Shell : 12oz waxed cotton // Lining : Alpaca fiber fleece
Waxed shell: Spot clean only with a damp cloth and cold water. No soap, it strips the wax. Never machine wash, never tumble dry, never dry clean. Let it air dry away from direct heat. Over time, the wax will wear in high-friction areas, shoulders, elbows, cuffs. That's normal. Re-wax once a season or when the shell stops beading water. A good paste wax and a warm cloth is all it takes. // Alpaca lining: Hand wash in cold water with a mild detergent if needed. Do not wring. Lay flat to dry. The lining does not need frequent washing, alpaca fiber naturally resists odour, so spot cleaning goes a long way.
